No wonder why gardening and crafting fall into the same boat when it comes to homesteading. You want to start everything all at the same time.
I have been attending the University of YouTube trying to learn about homesteading and low and behold across the screen was a upright planter. A GreenStalk! “What is this I have to have it” I said to myself.
I ordered the three tier original planter in Strawberry. Then I ordered the three tier original planter in Lemonade. OMG then they came out with Razzleberry and I had to have it so I ordered the flourish gift bundle. Wait… they were having a Mother’s day sale so I ordered the seven tier planter in Razzleberry. All of this was within three months lol. Note I also ordered the spinners and accessories (the berry cups, carrot caps, and the trellis sets) to go along with the planters. The next colors I must have are tomato and sage.

Do I have a problem? Maybe lol. Hear me out. My current backyard is small and narrow so my only option is to grow up. I will say that I should have planned out my GreenStalk garden before just planting everything. I ended up planting sweet and hot peppers on my top tier and strawberries on my second and third tier of one planter. Then I planted sugar snap peas on the top tier of another planter and green beans on the second and third tier. Another planter has corn planted in the first two tiers of a planter and potatoes in the bottom tier.
I am currently moving some of these plants around so I will have a planter just for strawberries, a planter just for corn, a planter just for potatoes, a planter just for green beans etc. This bright idea came to me when I decided I was going to dedicate a planter just to herbs.
The thing I love most about gardening is you learn from your mistakes.
